economic exploitation and lamentation – come out of her

Rapha House Trailer from Unearthed Pictures on Vimeo.

Watching this video brought to mind John's words of impending judgment over the exploitation of humanity by Babylon. Sex trafficking only exists because of "Babylon." Praise the God who will bring his righteous judgment and woe upon us who participate in Babylon through our silence, indifference or tacit approval for the sake of personal gain.

"And I heard another voice from heaven saying,

'Come out of her my people, in order that you might not share in her sin

And from her plagues in order that you might not partake.'"

"And the merchants of the earth wept and mourned over her, because no one buys their cargo anymore- cargo of gold, silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linens, purple garments, silk, and red garments, all kinds the citron wood, all the ivory utensils all the utensils from precious wood and bronze, iron and marble, cinnamon, spice, incense, myrrh, frankincense, wine, oil, fine flour, and grain, cattle, sheep, horses and chariots, and BODIES, and LIVES OF MEN."

"Then they threw dust on their heads and cried out weeping and mourning saying,

'Woe, woe the great city,

By which all those having ships in the sea

became rich from her merchandise,

because in one hour she was laid waste.

Celebrate over her, O heaven

and all the saints, apostles and prophets,

because God has judged your judgment against her.'"

"After this I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven saying,

'Hallelujah

The salvation and the glory and the power of our God,

Because his judgments are true and righteous

Because he judged the great prostitute

Who corrupted the earth with her fornication,

And he avenged the blood of his servants from her hands."

(Revelation 18.4, 11-14, 19-20; 19.1‒2)
